Jack Frost × Shakti is an advanced hybrid Psilocybe cubensis genetics combining the traits
of two distinctive lines: Jack Frost and Shakti.
Jack Frost is known for intensely white, almost “frosted” fruiting bodies, which gives this
hybrid a characteristic, highly aesthetic appearance. The Jack Frost × Shakti Growkit is
among the more demanding and sought-after research kits among experienced mycology
enthusiasts.
Jack Frost × Shakti genetics
Appearance: Snow-white caps and stems that give the fruiting bodies a distinctive “icy”
character. Medium-sized caps (usually 3–7 cm), slightly convex or flat. Over time, delicate,
shiny structures resembling frost may appear on the surface. The stem is thick, sturdy and
white, with possible subtle blue bruising where damaged.
Origin: An artificially produced hybrid of two well-known lines. Jack Frost derives from albino
selections related to Golden Teacher, while Shakti represents a separate, distinctive
Psilocybe cubensis line. Combining these genetics produced a stable hybrid with a clearly
albino appearance.
